The National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia announces a competition for the Mkrtich Nersisyan Award for scientists in the field of Genocide Studies who have published articles covering the topic of Armenian Genocide in the international scientific journals indexed in Web of Science (Genocide Studies International, Holocaust and Genocide Studies, Journal of Genocide Research). 

The competition is held annually, the deadline for applications is April 1 of each year. The results of the competition will be announced on April 15. The prize will be awarded on April 20-23. The annual prize fund is 1,000,000 (one million) AMD.

The citizens of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian scientists from the diaspora and foreign scientists can take part in the competition.
